Day24.jpg

Take a look at your timeline. Find a moment that you are eager to explore. Write the scene.

You may not know everything about this moment in your story yet. Go ahead and leave blanks to fill in later. If you have trouble getting started, ask yourself these questions:

In what location, at what time, and with what tone does this scene begin?

What events—big or small—occur within the scene?

What does your character feel, observe, or experience?

How is your character (or your character’s circumstances) changed by the end of the scene?

What does the scene set into motion?

What did he misremember? Why is it important? How did other people perceive the same moment?
